         We are so proud! One of CSAE-BC’s very own received highest honours at this year’s CSAE National Conference and
         Showcase, held in Toronto during the last week of October.  Jack Davison, President of BC Roadbuilders & Heavy
         Construction Association was awarded  the prestigious Pinnacle Award, offered to an individual who has demonstrated
          “exceptional and outstanding leadership...[as well as] prominence for the credit they bring to association leadership

          Long-time CSAE member Tom Abbot passed away on March 22, 2016. His family held a Celebration of Life on August 10th 
          and we would like to take a moment to remember Tom’s contributions to our organization and our sector.

        4 Tips for Working with Elected Officials
    As Jerry Maguire famously once said, “Help me, help you.”  It is a simple lesson; the best relationships are built on  
         mutual support and reciprocation.  Sometimes we might see our politicians as real world Santa Clauses.  If we sit
         on their laps and tell them our  policy resolutions, then magic will happen, and they will deliver us the advocacy
         gifts that we adore demonstrating to our memberships.  But what if we turn this standard relationship on its side,
         and build from the other direction?
