About CSAE
Pinnacle Award - for Executive Members

The Pinnacle award is designed to recognize exceptional and outstanding leadership and represents a very significant milestone in an executive member’s career. The recipient is an accomplished leader and is committed to leadership excellence in association management. The recipient has demonstrated leadership qualities within his/her own association over the past five years or more, contributed to other voluntary organizations and the community at large, and to CSAE at both the local and national levels. Recipients have achieved prominence for the credit they bring to association leadership and the association community.

Eligibility Criteria
  • CSAE voting member for at least five years
  • Association chief staff executive for at least five years
  • Full-time employment as an association chief staff executive at the time of nomination
  • Employment in current position for at least one year

Submission Requirements

A completed Pinnacle Award Application Form containing:

  • Reference information for three supporters (one of whom must be a current CSAE member)
  • Nominee’s Record of Achievement
  • Current résumé
  • Three support/reference letters
  • Narrative (250-500 words) illustrating why the nominee is deserving of this Award
