The Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) is always looking to improve what it offers and how it does so. As such, we are now providing the means for members and other visitors to our website or users of our resources to provide us with video feedback.
Let us know how our membership program is working out for you, let us know what you thought of a recent event you attended, talk about a piece of content you recently read, and so on. Regardless of why you are doing so, follow the instructions below and start talking!
Please mention your name (and organization, if willing), and what event you are at or the like.
Can you spare a moment to share the benefits you've enjoyed thanks to your CSAE membership?
The Canadian Society of Association Executives has a social media initiative that enables you, our valued members, to tell us and your peers why I AM CSAE. If you would like to briefly explain why you value being a member -- why "I AM CSAE" -- please click the red button below and record a brief "I AM CSAE" video for us.
IAM CSAE videos your fellow members have already recorded may be seen here.
Step 1: Click on the red button above with your mouse or press with your finger if using a mobile device.
Step 2: If using a desktop or laptop, aim your webcam appropriately.
If using a mobile device, position yourself in front of your camera.
If you do not have a webcam attached to your desktop or laptop, you will not be able to proceed.
Step 3: In the window that opens on your screen, click "Record" on a desktop or laptop to begin recording.
On a mobile device, click "Take Video" (or equivalent) and then arrange yourself and camera to begin recording normally. (Preferably, shoot using a wide shot rather than holding your camera upright.)
Step 4: Stop the video when done.
On a laptop or desktop, press "Submit" to send the video.
On a mobile device, press "Use Video" (or equivalent) to send the video.
By submitting video feedback, you grant CSAE the right to use the video in news or promotional material whether in print, electronic, or other media, including the CSAE website and social channels. You also grant the right to edit same at the CSAE’s discretion.
